Overeducation is one of the most important mechanisms for labour market adjustment when there is an excess supply of highly skilled workers. The paper aims to analyse the overeducation patterns of Croatian youth in the aftermath of the Great Recession. Contrary to previous findings in Croatian literature which depend on a single measure of overeducation, the paper relies on both statistical and subjective measures to provide a deeper insight.
