Micropatterned Biphasic Printed Electrodes for High‐Fidelity on‐Skin Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Micropatterned biphasic printed electrodes achieve unprecedented skin conformity and low impedance by combining liquid‐metal droplets with microstructured 3D lattices. This scalable approach enables high‐fidelity detection of ECG, EMG, and EEG signals, including alpha rhythms from the forehead, with long‐term comfort and stability.

Mechanical Calculation of Power Lines and Strands in Overhead Transmission Lines

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
This paper discusses the issue of shape and stress of overhead transmission lines. It fully considers that the conductor is subjected to axial force, shear, bending moment simultaneousiy. And the flat wire is basically in the elastic range.

IMPACT OF GROUND WIRES ON THE SERIES IMPEDANCE, VOLTAGE AND CURRENT CONDITIONS OF OVERHEAD POWER LINES

open access: yesActa Electrotechnica et Informatica, 2019
Ground wires are bare conductors which serve to protect the power line from the lightning strike. This article deals with the calculation of the series impedance of the 110 kV overhead power line with one ground wire.

Tuning the Dielectric Properties of Individual Clay Nanosheets by Interlayer Composition: Toward Nano‐Electret Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The dielectric properties of clays are studied on the level of individual monolayers and functional double stacks. The material breakdown characteristics and charge storage performance are analyzed. For illustration, a defined charge pattern representing a cuneiform character is produced, written into a microscopic clay tile, referencing the origins of

A theoretical model of rain–wind–induced in-plane galloping on overhead transmission tower-lines system

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2015
Rain–wind–induced galloping phenomenon often occurs on overhead transmission tower-lines system, just as icing galloping and vortex-excited vibration; this kind of instability oscillation can cause power-line breakage or tower failure.

Review of dynamic line rating systems for wind power integration [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
When a wind power system is connected to a network point there is a limit of power generation based on the characteristics of the network and the loads connected to it.

Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions
