Modelling of continuous low‐temperature emulsion co‐polymerization in 3D‐printed reactor

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, Volume 104, Issue 7, Page 3692-3713, July 2026.
A kinetic model for the emulsion copolymerization of butyl acrylate/styrene at low temperatures is proposed and validated against experiments with a redox initiator system. The model was successfully transferred to a 3D‐printed tubular reactor and conversions of more than 80% and small particles sizes below 40 nm were observed.

Digitized Stratigraphic and Geophysical Logs From Deep Boreholes in the 2022 Mw 5.5 Fano‐Pesaro Earthquake Region, Adriatic Sea, Italy

open access: yesGeoscience Data Journal, Volume 13, Issue 3, July 2026.
Legacy borehole documentation from seven deep exploration wells in the Pesaro–Fano offshore area (Adriatic Sea) was digitized into an accessible dataset of stratigraphic and geophysical data. The dataset is openly available in the Zenodo repository and supports future geological and geophysical studies in the Adriatic region and beyond.

The change of overpressure peak and overpressure rate under different spray pressure.

open access: yes
The reference column reflects the value of explosion overpressure under different spray pressures, and the curve highlights the influence of different spray pressures on the propagation velocity of explosion overpressure. (PDF)

Major Controlling Factors of Overpressure Generation in West Baram Delta, Offshore Sarawak Basin: An Overview on Disequlibirum Compaction and Thermal Analysis Causing Overpressure Interval

open access: yes, 2018
Pore pressure data at well location is one of the requirements for exploitation of oil and gas resources. The accurate pore pressure can be determined optimally when the overpressure mechanisms are well established.

Astrocyte Mechanobiology: Linking Biomechanical Forces to Biochemical Signaling in the Central Nervous System

open access: yesGlia, Volume 74, Issue 7, July 2026.
Astrocytes are key sensors and transducers of biomechanical stimuli within the central nervous system. Astrocyte development is highly dependent on mechanical stimuli such as surrounding tissue stiffness and biomechanical strain. Mechanosensory pathways including integrins, connexins and pannexins, and mechanosensitive channels regulate astrocyte ...

Comparative analysis of explosion overpressure.

open access: yes
The black curve is the change in explosion overpressure with ignition time when the spray system is not opened, and the red curve is the change value of explosion overpressure with ignition time under the spray pressure for optimal explosion suppression.

Anisotropic Biot Coefficient of Fractured Rocks Drives Failure Conditions in Pressurized Reservoirs

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 12, 28 June 2026.
Abstract We present a theoretical framework to quantify the equivalent Biot coefficient tensor of fractured rock masses based on the properties of both the intact porous matrix and the fracture network. Our results show that the presence of dominant fracture sets produces an anisotropic equivalent Biot tensor, with larger values in the direction ...

A Deep Learning Dataset for Pre‐Drill Geohazard Assessment in Taranaki Basin New Zealand

open access: yesGeoscience Data Journal
Scientific ocean drilling is crucial for understanding subsurface processes but remains vulnerable to geohazards such as blowouts and wellbore instability, posing catastrophic risks to operations, human safety, and ecosystems.
