AS‐pHopt: An Optimal pH Prediction Model Enhanced by Active Site of Enzymes
To address the low accuracy of enzyme optimal pH (pHopt) prediction, this study develops active site‐based pHopt (AS‐pHopt), a prediction model enhanced by active site information and pseudo‐label prediction. Integrating key structural and physicochemical features affecting enzyme pHopt, AS‐pHopt uses Evolutionary Scale Modeling (ESM)‐2 with active ...

Large‐Scale Machine Learning to Screen for Small‐Molecule Senolytics
A consistent workflow underpins all experiments in this study. A dedicated model‐selection dataset first identifies optimal hyperparameters for each algorithm. Models are then trained and rigorously evaluated on independent sets of molecules using the senolytic ratio SR. Comprehensive hyperparameter exploration across SMILES representations, task types,

Linear higher-order Maxwell-Einstein-Scalar theories
In the context of the Higher-Order Maxwell-Einstein-Scalar (HOMES) theories, which are invariant under spacetime diffeomorphisms and U(1) gauge symmetry, we study two broad subclasses: the first is up to linear in R μναβ , ∇ μ ∇ ν ϕ, ∇ ρ F μν and up to ...

This research demonstrates that the combination of domain knowledge–based multiple regression, multi‐objective Bayesian optimization, and generative models is a suitable prediction tool for candidates of high refractive index polymers, even with the constraints in the model trained on limited data. The experimental validation can reproduce the proposed

Solving Data Overlapping Problem Using A Class‐Separable Extreme Learning Machine Auto‐Encoder
The overlapping and imbalanced data in classification present key challenges. Class‐separable extreme learning machine auto‐encoding (CS‐ELM‐AE) is proposed, which is an enhancement of ELM‐AE that better handles overlapping data by clustering points from the same class together. Applying oversampling addresses imbalanced data.

It is a fact that slippage causes tracking errors in both longitudinal and lateral directions which results to have less travel distance in tracking a reference trajectory. Less travel distance means having energy loss of the battery and carrying loads less than planned.

A novel proton decay signature at DUNE, JUNO, and Hyper-K
Proton decay, although unobserved so far, is a natural expectation when attempting to explain the baryon asymmetry of the universe. p → K + ν ¯ $$ p\to {K}^{+}\overline{\nu} $$ or p → K + χ ~ 1 0 $$ p\to {K}^{+}{\overset{\sim }{\chi}}_1^0 $$ , with χ ~ 1
