Advancing Light‐Triggered Alkyd Paint Curing: (Cp)FeII(naphthalene)](PF6) Catalysts with Enhanced Photosensitivity and Increased Performance in Pigmented Alkyd Paints

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
[(Cp)FeII(naphthalene)](PF6) catalysts are reported with improved curing efficiency of alkyd paints compared to [(Cp)FeII(arene)](PF6), particularly in dark‐pigmented formulations. Their improved photosensitivity enables faster drying at lower concentrations, presenting a promising alternative to conventional industrial driers under regulatory pressure.

Leaching Efficacy of Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid (EDTA) to Extract Rare-Earth Elements from Monazite Concentrate

open access: yesCrystals
Alkaline EDTA solution has been previously identified as an effective leaching agent for solubilising rare-earth oxalates. These oxalates are the product of an oxalic acid conversion leach dissolving monazite and redepositing the salt.

Recent Advances and Constructing Strategies of Chemiluminescence‐ and Bioluminescence‐Based Photodynamic Therapy

open access: yesChemPhotoChem, EarlyView.
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a noninvasive therapy for cancer and many other diseases. A PDT system includes three key components: a light source, photosensitizers (PSs), and oxygen. Internal light sources, such as chemiluminescence (CL) and bioluminescence (BL), trigger PDT without external irradiation, allowing for more flexibility.
