Neuartige Oxazin‐Synthese

Chemische Berichte, 1980
New Oxazine SynthesisThe dialkylcyanamides 2 react with derivatives of o‐chloro‐carboxylic acids 1 and 5a,b to give benzoxazine 3 and the benzothieno‐oxazines 6 and 7. The chloride 5c reacts with 2 to form the carbimidoyl chlorides 8.

Formation of oxazine dye by photochemical reaction of N-acyl oxazine derivatives

Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology A: Chemistry, 2007
The synthesis and photochemical reaction mechanism of N-benzoyl oxazine derivatives have been investigated. The synthesized materials were found to be photosensitive and capable of generating oxazine dye upon light irradiation. The initial reactions were found to include homolytic bond cleavage between the oxazine nitrogen and benzoyl carbon atoms ...

Identification of Neutrophils with an Oxazine Dye

American Journal of Clinical Pathology, 1987
Used in an alkaline-buffered solution on fixed smears of bone marrow or peripheral blood, the oxazine dye CI basic blue 141 preferentially stained neutrophil granules a bright crimson red. In neutrophils, these granules were numerous, whereas in bands, only a few granules were seen.

A Facile and Convenient Approach for the Synthesis of Novel Sesamol–Oxazine and Quinoline–Oxazine Hybrids

Australian Journal of Chemistry, 2017
A series of functionalized sesamol–oxazine and quinoline–oxazine hybrids have been synthesized via one-pot reaction of sesamol/6-hydroxyquinoline, aromatic amines, and methanal. The structures of all the novel compounds were confirmed by spectral data. The structures of the synthesized hybrids were also confirmed by X-ray crystallographic studies. Mild

1,3-Oxazines and benzoxazines

1991
This chapter deals with the reviews published in the past decade dealing with 1, 3-oxazines. It includes a survey by Steglich on the uses of 1, 3-oxazin-6-ones, as versatile intermediates in heterocyclic synthesis. A more general summary of the chemistry and uses of “oxazinones” covering the period 1976-1985 are presented by Zakhs and coworkers.
