Oxidative stress and retinopathy: evidence from epidemiological studies

open access: yesJournal of Translational Medicine
Background Previous studies have suggested oxidative stress may play a key role in the pathogenesis of retinopathy, while evidence from observational studies directly linking oxidative biomarkers to clinically relevant outcomes has been limited.

The impact of diet and lifestyle-related oxidative stress on asthma outcomes: a longitudinal NHANES analysis

open access: yesAnnals of Medicine
Objective Oxidative stress is known to play a key role in the progression of asthma. The Oxidative Balance Score (OBS), derived from an analysis of diet and lifestyle choices, provides a measure of the body’s oxidative stress levels.

3D (Bio) Printing Combined Fiber Fabrication Methods for Tissue Engineering Applications: Possibilities and Limitations

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

Higher oxidative balance score was associated with decreased risk of erectile dysfunction: a population-based study

open access: yesNutrition Journal
Background Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a prevalent condition that is thought to be significantly impacted by oxidative stress. The oxidative balance score (OBS) has been built to characterize the state of antioxidant/pro-oxidant balance.

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Association between oxidative balance score and endometriosis findings from NHANES 1999–2006

open access: yes
Abstract Aim The Oxidative Balance Score (OBS) functions as a measure for gauging the oxidative stress condition, OBS has been utilized to assess the overall oxidants and antioxidants exposure status in various chronic disease studies, Growing evidence suggests that oxidative stress is involved in the pathophysiologic mechanisms of ...
