Association between the Oxidative Balance Score and Incident Chronic Kidney Disease in Adults

Oxidative stress is a novel risk factor for chronic kidney disease (CKD). The oxidative balance score (OBS) was developed to represent the overall oxidative balance based on dietary and lifestyle pro-oxidant and antioxidant components. The aim of this study is to verify the relationship between the OBS and the incidence of CKD.
