The association between environmental exposures to chlordanes, adiposity and diabetes-related features: a systematic review and meta-analysis [PDF]
Chlordane compounds (CHLs) are components of technical chlordane listed in the Stockholm convention on persistent organic pollutants identified as endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) and may interfere with hormone biosynthesis, metabolism or action ...

Quantification of persistent organic pollutants in breastmilk and estimated infant intake, Norway. [PDF]
Organochlorine pesticides (OCPs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and brominated flame retardants (BFRs) in human milk samples collected in 2020/2021, Norway. Of 110 infants, 99.1% and 6.4% of ingest Ʃ7PCBs and ƩHCHs (hexachlorocyclohexanes) above health‐based guidance values through human milk.

Abstract Knowledge of the role in cancer etiology of environmental exposures as pesticides is a prerequisite for primary prevention. We review 63 epidemiological studies on exposure to pesticides and cancer risk in humans published from 2017 to 2021, with emphasis on new findings, methodological approaches, and gaps in the existing literature.

Telomeres and anthropogenic disturbances in wildlife: A systematic review and meta‐analysis
Abstract Human‐driven environmental changes are affecting wildlife across the globe. These challenges do not influence species or populations to the same extent and therefore a comprehensive evaluation of organismal health is needed to determine their ultimate impact.

Abstract Fourteen legacy organochlorine (OC) contaminants and 12 perfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) were measured in eggs of tawny owls (Strix alueco) in central Norway (1986–2019). We expected OCs to have reached stable equilibrium levels due to bans, and that recent phase‐out of some PFASs would have slowed the increase of these compounds.

Abstract Prior work has suggested associations between prenatal exposure to several classes of pesticides and child autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We examined a previously developed pesticide residue burden score (PRBS) and intake of high pesticide residue foods in association with ASD‐related traits. Participants were drawn from the Early Autism Risk

Aim of the Study. We set out to investigate the quality status of CR in China objectively according to the Chinese Pharmacopeia (ChP). We also explored the correlation between its growth area, morphological characteristics, and quality by analyzing physical and chemical indexes from 47 batches of CR collected from 12 provinces belonging to six ...
