Absorption-coefficient calculation of short-wavelength photoresist materials: From EUV to BEUV and water window X-ray. [PDF]

open access: yesSmart Mol
In photolithography, shortening the exposure wavelength from ultraviolet to extreme ultraviolet (EUV, 13.5 nm) and soft X‐ray region in terms of beyond EUV (BEUV, 6.X nm) and water window X‐ray (WWX, 2.2–4.4 nm) is expected to further miniaturize the technology node down to sub‐5 nm level.

Ambient Hydrocarbonylation of Olefins Enabled by Visible-Light. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
A novel photo‐induced methodology for hydrocarbonylation has been established, resolving the inherent conflicts between competitive olefin and CO insertion in traditional methods that necessitate harsh conditions. Accordingly, an efficient and versatile hydrocarbonylation of olefins enabled by visible‐light irradiation under ambient conditions has been

Synthesis and Self-Assembly of Poly(4-acetoxystyrene) Cubosomes. [PDF]

open access: yesMacromol Rapid Commun
Polymer cubosomes of poly(4‐acetoxystyrene) is realized by RAFT polymerization and subsequent self‐assembly in water. By adjusting the solvent conditions, the same polymer could be directed into polymersomes, cubosomes or hexosomes. The study provides new insights into the formation of polymer cubosomes using functional wall chemistries.

Photocatalysis Enables Chemodivergent Radical Polar Crossover: Ritter-Type Amidation vs Heck-Type Olefin Carbofunctionalizations. [PDF]

open access: yesChemistry
One aryl makes the difference: switching styrenes with 1,1‐diaryl olefins as radical acceptors, the benzylic cation intermediate fate changes from Ritter‐type carboamidation to Heck‐type reaction. The decarboxylative photocatalytic chemodivergent methodology enabled broad scope and efficient scalability in both batch and flow.

Atomic Scale Engineering of Multivalence-State Palladium Photocatalyst for Transfer Hydrogenation with Water as a Proton Source. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Mater
Photocatalytic transfer hydrogenation is achieved over a multivalence‐state palladium photocatalyst, in which protons generated from photocatalytic water splitting are added to unsaturated double bonds. The operando light‐induced Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy confirms the synergistic action between Pd single atoms and nanoparticles,

Blue‐Light Driven Iron‐Catalyzed Oxy‐phosphinylation of Activated Alkenes for β‐Ketophosphine Oxide Synthesis

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 29, Issue 69, December 11, 2023., 2023
A blue light driven iron‐catalyzed oxy‐phosphinylation of activated alkenes with secondary phosphine oxides under air at room temperature led to β‐ketophosphine oxides in 43–97 % isolated yields. The proposed mechanism involved a blue light promoted aerobic process catalyzed by iron which generated a phosphorus radical from the starting secondary ...

Architectural control of polystyrene physical properties using branched anionic polymerization initiated at ambient temperature

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, Volume 58, Issue 10, Page 1426-1438, May 15, 2020., 2020
Ambient temperature‐initiated anionic polymerization of styrene has been used to generate polymers of varying molecular weights and architectures. The branched polystyrenes did not show a conventional Tg versus molecular weight relationship and analyses have shown a strong correlation to the degree of polymerization of the component chains and position

Catalyst- and solvent-free hydrophosphination and multicomponent hydrothiophosphination of alkenes and alkynes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The hydrophosphination of carbon–carbon multiple bonds has been generally performed under acid, base or metal catalysis in different solvents. Herein, alkyl and alkenyl tertiary phosphines are obtained by the addition of diphenylphosphine to alkenes and ...

Melt Grafting of Geometry‐Tailored Voltage Stabilizers for High‐Performance Polypropylene Insulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 30, 13 April 2026.
A scalable one‐step melt grafting strategy is developed to enhance the dielectric properties of isotactic polypropylene by covalently incorporating thermally stable aromatic voltage stabilizers. This solvent‐free approach improves volume resistivity and DC breakdown strength through deep trap formation and charge localization, offering a sustainable ...
