Continuous projections onto ideal convergent sequences
Let I⊆ P(ω) be a meager ideal. Then there are no continuous projections from l∞ onto the set of bounded sequences which are I-convergent to 0. In particular, it follows that the set of bounded sequences statistically convergent to 0 is not isomorphic to ...

On convergent sequences in dual groups [PDF]
We provide some characterizations of precompact abelian groups G whose dual group G∧ p endowed with the pointwise convergence topology on elements of G contains a nontrivial convergent sequence.

Disjoint p$p$‐convergent operators and their adjoints
AbstractFirst, we give conditions on a Banach lattice so that an operator from to any Banach space is disjoint ‐convergent if and only if is almost Dunford–Pettis. Then, we study when adjoints of positive operators between Banach lattices are disjoint ‐convergent.

Remarks on the $L^p$ convergence of Bessel--Fourier series on the disc
The $L^p$ convergence of eigenfunction expansions for the Laplacian on planar domains is largely unknown for $p\neq 2$. After discussing the classical Fourier series on the 2-torus, we move onto the disc, whose eigenfunctions are explicitly computable as products of trigonometric and Bessel functions. We summarise a result of Balodis and Córdoba (1999)

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Double sequence transformations that guarantee a given rate of p-convergence
In this paper the following sequence space is presented. Let [t] be a positive double sequence and define the sequence space ?''(t) = {complex sequences x : xk,l = O(tk,l)}. The set of geometrically dominated double sequences is defined as G'' = U r,s?(0,1) G(r, s) where G(r, s) = {complex sequences x : x k,l = O(rk sl)} for each r, s in ...

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

On weak-starp-convergent operators
The purpose of this article is to introduce and study the notion of “weak* p-convergent operator”. We discuss the relationship between the weak* p-convergent operators and the p-convergent operators, a class of operators that was introduced in the paper [
