Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic disease that disrupts patients’ physical and psychological well-being. A disease-specific measure was developed and validated for assessing health-related quality of life in hidradenitis suppurativa.

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

$$L^p$$-convergence rate of backward Euler schemes for monotone SDEs
We give a unified method to derive the strong convergence rate of the backward Euler scheme for monotone SDEs in $L^p(Ω)$-norm, with general $p \ge 4$. The results are applied to the backward Euler scheme of SODEs with polynomial growth coefficients. We also generalize the argument to the Galerkin-based backward Euler scheme of SPDEs with polynomial ...

Optimal solvability for the Dirichlet and Neumann problem in dimension two [PDF]
We show existence and uniqueness for the solutions of the regularity and the Neumann problems for harmonic functions on Lipschitz domains with data in the Hardy spaces H^p, p>2/3, where This in turn implies that solutions to the Dirichlet problem with ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

On $(p,r)$-null sequences and their relatives [PDF]
Let $1\leq p < \infty$ and $1\leq r \leq p^\ast$, where $p^\ast$ is the conjugate index of $p$. We prove an omnibus theorem, which provides numerous equivalences for a sequence $(x_n)$ in a Banach space $X$ to be a $(p,r)$-null sequence.
