Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic disease that disrupts patients’ physical and psychological well-being. A disease-specific measure was developed and validated for assessing health-related quality of life in hidradenitis suppurativa.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Some fixed point results in fuzzy metric spaces using a control function [PDF]
In this paper, we establish the results on existence and uniqueness of fixed point for φ-contractive and generalized C-contractive mapping in the fuzzy metric space in the sense of George and Veeramani.

Expressing functional siRNAs in mammalian cells using convergent transcription
Background The use of small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) as genetic inhibitors of gene expression has been shown to be an effective way of studying gene function in mammalian cells.

Lacunary statistical convergence of double sequences [PDF]
In 1978 Freedman, Sember, and Raphael presented a definition for lacunary refinement as follows: $rho={bar{k}_{r}}$ is called a lacunary refinement of the lacunary sequence $theta ={k_{r}}$ if ${k_{r}}subseteq {bar{k}_{r}}$.

ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

$$L^p$$-convergence rate of backward Euler schemes for monotone SDEs
We give a unified method to derive the strong convergence rate of the backward Euler scheme for monotone SDEs in $L^p(Ω)$-norm, with general $p \ge 4$. The results are applied to the backward Euler scheme of SODEs with polynomial growth coefficients. We also generalize the argument to the Galerkin-based backward Euler scheme of SPDEs with polynomial ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Static properties of nuclear matter within the Boson Loop Expansion
The use of the Boson Loop Expansion is proposed for investigating the static properties of nuclear matter. We explicitly consider a schematic dynamical model in which nucleons interact with the scalar-isoscalar sigma meson.
