Off-shell two-particle scattering amplitude in the P-matrix approach

Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, 1988
A generalization of the P-matrix approach which makes it possible to describe the interaction of two particles off the energy shell is proposed. Explicit separation in the wave function of a part corresponding to free motion yields a compact expression for the off-shell scattering amplitude and gives directly a method for separable expansion of the ...

Coupled Channels and P-matrix approach to Baryon-Antibaryon Interactions

1987
Recent data [1,2] taken at LEAR on the reaction \(\overline {p\,} \,p \to \,\overline A A\) show some interesting features. The differential cross-section is highly anisotropic even close to threshold, suggesting the contribution of many partial waves to the reaction.

Extended p-matrix model to calculate imbalance characteristics of CRF filters

IEEE Ultrasonics Symposium, 2004, 2005
An extended P-matrix model is introduced that includes additional electrical ports to take into account particular electrode polarities. The transduction efficiency and static capacitance of any particular electrode are calculated using the model of reflecting grating and electrostatic charge distribution in the total electrode structure.

A Simple P-Matrix Linear Complementarity Problem for Discounted Games

2008
The values of a two-player zero-sum binary discounted game are characterized by a P-matrix linear complementarity problem (LCP). Simple formulas are given to describe the data of the LCP in terms of the game graph, discount factor, and rewards. Hence it is shown that the unique sink orientation (USO) associated with this LCP coincides with the strategy

Simple Stochastic Games and P-Matrix Generalized Linear Complementarity Problems

2005
We show that the problem of finding optimal strategies for both players in a simple stochastic game reduces to the generalized linear complementarity problem (GLCP) with a P-matrix, a well-studied problem whose hardness would imply NP = co–NP. This makes the rich GLCP theory and numerous existing algorithms available for simple stochastic games.

A linear complementarity problem with an n by 2n “P”-matrix

1978
The problem considered in this paper is given by the conditions: w=q+Mv+Nx, w≧0, v≧0, x≧0, v≦r, w T v=0 and (r−v) T x=0. Here q, r are n-vectors with r>0 and M, N are n by n matrices. We say that an n by 2n matrix (M, N) has the P-property if all of its “principal” minors are positive.
