A Linear Complementarity Problem with a P-Matrix
SIAM Review, 2004Summary: We present an application of a linear complementarity problem where \(M\) is a P-matrix but, in general, is neither an H-matrix nor a positive definite matrix. This application occurs originally by \textit{J. Rohn} [Linear Algebra Appl. 126, 39--78 (1989; Zbl 0712.65029)], which is less known to the LCP community. Its focus is in computing the

The P matrix methods for the quark model
Nuclear Physics A, 1987Abstract Physical foundations of the P-matrix approach, connecting P-matrix poles to multiquark states, are explored. The QCB interaction is constructed explicitly for ππ, πN, πK, KN and NN systems. Deuteron and tritium characteristics are calculated.

Causal P-matrix description of leaky SAW devices
2016 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium (IUS), 2016In this work a causal P-matrix method for leaky SAW(LSAW) devices and the determination of the thereto needed COM-parameters slowness s and reflection r are presented. As a consequence of causality s and r in general are complex. The imaginary parts of reflection and slowness are interpreted as the exchange of energy between SAW and BAW.

On matrices whose exponential is a P-matrix
Communications in Optimization TheorySummary: A matrix is called a P-matrix if all its principal minors are positive. P-matrices have found important applications in functional analysis, mathematical programming, and dynamical systems theory. We introduce a new class of real matrices denoted \(\mathbb{E}^{\mathbb{P}}\).
