PacBio Only Assembly with Low Genomic DNA Input
The assembly and analysis of microbial species on earth remains a largely unexplored area of life. This is partially due to their inability to be cultured but also based on the large historic cost of drafting and finishing individual microbial species genomes.

Brownotate, a Comprehensive Solution to Generate Protein Sequence Databases for Any Species
ABSTRACT Proteomics is strengthening research in biology and the diversification of the model organisms studied is very promising for fully understanding the complexity of biological principles. However, the lack of protein sequence databases for many species is a major bottleneck.

Incorporating soil biological and functional attributes to advance ecological restoration
Earth is currently experiencing a mass extinction crisis, predominantly driven by anthropogenic activities, with land use change causing widespread loss and degradation of native ecosystems and indigenous species. There is an urgent need to halt this trend and restore degraded habitat to preserve biodiversity and protect threatened plants and animals ...

ABSTRACT Spiders are renowned for their ecological versatility and silk‐based innovations in materials science, yet marine environments remain virtually uncolonized by this predominantly terrestrial lineage. A striking exception is the obligate intertidal spider genus Desis, whose members have evolved extraordinary physiological and behavioural ...

This study comprehended the allergen profiles of six edible crab species using proteomic and transcriptomic analyses and identified 11 putative allergens. King crab has a distinct protein and allergen profile, with the discovery of malate dehydrogenase as a novel king crab‐specific allergen registered as Para c 11.
