ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Bin Packing and Related Problems: General Arc-flow Formulation with Graph Compression [PDF]
We present an exact method, based on an arc-flow formulation with side constraints, for solving bin packing and cutting stock problems --- including multi-constraint variants --- by simply representing all the patterns in a very compact graph. Our method

Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Polychromatic Colorings on the Integers [PDF]
We show that for any set $S\subseteq \mathbb{Z}$, $|S|=4$ there exists a 3-coloring of $\mathbb{Z}$ in which every translate of $S$ receives all three colors. This implies that $S$ has a codensity of at most $1/3$, proving a conjecture of Newman [D.

Effect of chemotherapy on passenger mutations in metastatic colorectal cancer
Changes in passenger mutation load and predicted immunotherapy response after chemotherapy treatment. Tumor cells rich with passenger mutations have increased sensitivity to chemotherapy. Correlation of passenger mutations with neoantigen load suggests highly mutated clones promote a more effective response to immunotherapy, and therefore, first‐line ...

Packing coloring of graphs with long paths
The packing coloring problem has diverse applications, including frequency assignment in wireless networks, resource distribution and facility location in smart cities and post-disaster management, as well as in biological diversity. Formally, the packing coloring of a graph is a vertex coloring in which any two vertices assigned color $i$ are at a ...

Packing $(1,1,2,4)$-coloring of subcubic outerplanar graphs
For $1\leq s_1 \le s_2 \le \ldots \le s_k$ and a graph $G$, a packing $(s_1, s_2, \ldots, s_k)$-coloring of $G$ is a partition of $V(G)$ into sets $V_1, V_2, \ldots, V_k$ such that, for each $1\leq i \leq k$, the distance between any two distinct $x,y\in V_i$ is at least $s_i + 1$. The packing chromatic number, $ _p(G)$, of a graph $G$ is the smallest
