Genome analysis reveals probiotic propensities of Paenibacillus polymyxa HK4
The legislations on the usage of antibiotics as growth promoters and prophylactic agents have compelled to develop alternative tools to upsurge the animal protection and contain antibiotic usage. Probiotics have emerged as an effective antibiotic substitute in animal farming.

Engineering of the 2,3-butanediol pathway of Paenibacillus polymyxa DSM 365
Paenibacillus polymyxa is a Gram-positive, non-pathogenic soil bacterium that has been extensively investigated for the production of R-,R-2,3-butanediol in exceptionally high enantiomeric purity. Rational metabolic engineering efforts to increase productivity and product titers were restricted due to limited genetic accessibility of the organism up to

Fungal disease management in cotton using plant protection products: An Australian perspective
Cotton disease management requires evidence‐driven use of plant protection products. Progress hinges on integrating chemistry, diagnostics, stewardship and sustainability to build resilient production systems. Abstract Cotton production faces persistent challenges from pathogens that compromise plant establishment, yield, and fibre quality.

Discovery of a cryptic aminoacidic triad involved in the temperature adaptation of GH1 enzymes
Cold‐active enzymes retain high catalytic activity at low temperatures but are characterized by thermal instability, a behavior not fully understood. Comparison between a cold‐active GH1 and its mesophilic counterparts highlights the role of a three‐residue motif (W‐M‐F) in conferring structural stability to a mesophilic GH1.
