Genomic and Haplotype Comparison of Butanol Producing Bacteria Based on 16S rDNA [PDF]
High butanol demand for transportation fuel triggers butanol production development. Exploration of butanolproducing bacteria using genomic comparison and biogeography will help to develop butanol industry.

Novel pyrazine metabolites found in polymyxin biosynthesis byPaenibacillus polymyxa [PDF]
A complex mixture of methyl-branched alkyl-substituted pyrazines was found in the growth medium of the polymyxin-producing bacterium Paenibacillus polymyxa, and of these, seven are new natural compounds. A total of 19 pyrazine metabolites were identified.

ABSTRACT This study presents the first integrated analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), fatty acids, and cultivable bacteriota in whole‐body spider specimens, combining HS‐SPME‐GC/MS, GC/MS, and MALDI‐TOF‐MS. A total of 100 spiders from five synanthropic species, Steatoda opiliones, S. bipunctata, S.

I propose a ‘genome‐first’ framework to collapse the phenotypic bottleneck in bioinput discovery. By integrating multi‐layered genome mining and reverse ecology, this paradigm enables the rational design of stable synthetic microbial communities for a data‐driven and sustainable agricultural bioeconomy.

Antibacterial Gene Transfer Across the Tree of Life [PDF]
Though horizontal gene transfer (HGT) is widespread, genes and taxa experience biased rates of transferability. Curiously, independent transmission of homologous DNA to archaea, bacteria, eukaryotes, and viruses is extremely rare and often defies ...
