In response to the growing demand for environmentally friendly construction practices, sustainable alternatives to conventional cement, aggregates, and reinforcement fibers (both steel and synthetic) are receiving increased attention. These alternatives often originate from mineral and biological wastes.

Sliding Wear Performance of Natural Fiber–Reinforced Polymer Matrix Composites
While synthetic fiber composites offer some positive environmental attributes, researchers are trying to explore natural fiber composites (NFCs) due to the high cost and pollution associated with their production. As a result, it is essential to look at the tribological properties that natural composite materials exhibit.

Critical length and interfacial strength of PALF and coir fiber incorporated in epoxy resin matrix
The several advantages of natural lignocellulosic fibers (NLFs), such as, economical, technical, environmental and social, make these fibers an alternative to replace synthetic fibers in composite materials.

Potentiality of Indian pineapple leaf fiber for apparels
The use of textile-grade fiber extracted from the Indian pineapple leaf is an unexplored area. Pineapple leaf fiber (PALF) is fine, soft, and moderately strong and is much acceptable for fashion garment.

ABSTRACT In recent years, natural‐fiber‐reinforced polymers have gained significant attention due to their sustainability and enhanced properties. This study used Canadian maple wood fiber as reinforcement in a polypropylene (PP). Fiber length and fiber content are known as key factors affecting the properties of the composites.

This research explores the effect of basket weave fabric structure and fiber combinations in hybrid composites, focusing on impact resistance, thermal stability, and flammability. The findings demonstrate that Kevlar‐glass laminates offer superior thermal stability and impact strength compared to Kevlar‐basalt laminates.
