Intrinsic Fluorescence of PAMAM Dendrimers—Quenching Studies [PDF]

open access: yesPolymers, 2018
Intrinsic, non-traditional fluorescence of polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimers that do not possess classical fluorophores has been attracting considerable interest for the last decade. Many hypotheses regarding the source of the fluorescence have appeared, but some of them are still disputable.

Effects of Poly(Amidoamine) Dendrimer-Coated Mesoporous Bioactive Glass Nanoparticles on Dentin Remineralization

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2019
Dentin hypersensitivity (DH) is one of the most common clinical conditions usually associated with exposed dentinal surfaces. In this study, we identified the effectiveness of poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimer-coated mesoporous bioactive glass ...

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Inverse Polyamidoamine (i‐PAMAM) Dendrimer Antimicrobials

open access: yesHelvetica Chimica Acta, 2023
AbstractHere we redesigned the branches of polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimers by moving the amide carbonyl group on the other side of the amide nitrogen atom, transforming the β‐alaninyl‐amidoethylamine branch, which easily undergoes retro‐Michael reactions and renders PAMAMs intrinsically unstable, into a more stable glycyl‐amidopropylamine branch. The

Solid‐State Nanopore Characterization of Dendrimer‐Peptide Conjugates Across Defined Peptide Loadings

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Solid‐state nanopores are used to interrogate dendrimer‐peptide conjugates with systematically varied peptide loading. Single‐particle ionic current signatures reveal how ligand density modulates deformability, transport pathways, and electromechanical coupling during translocation.

PAMAM dendrimers based co-delivery of methotrexate and berberine for targeting of Hela cancer cells

open access: yesToxicology Reports
Polyamidoamine dendrimer (PAMAM) is a class of synthetic macromolecular polymers for targeted drug delivery. PAMAM dendrimers are characterized by a pure defined structure, adjustable nanoscale dimensions, mono-dispersity, and versatile surface ...

Preparation of MOEAMCl and MAAm Based Hydrogels and Effective Use in Anionic Dye Adsorption

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 142, Issue 16, April 20, 2025.
ABSTRACT In this study, hydrogels based on [2‐(Methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium chloride (MOEAMCl) and methacrylamide (MAAm) were synthesized for the removal of anionic dyes from aqueous solutions. Following detailed characterization, the use of hydrogels for methyl orange (MO) adsorption was investigated.
