Multi-State Models for Panel Data: The msm Package for R
Panel data are observations of a continuous-time process at arbitrary times, for example, visits to a hospital to diagnose disease status. Multi-state models for such data are generally based on the Markov assumption.

Instrument Selection in Panel Data Models with Endogeneity: A Bayesian Approach
This paper proposes the use of Bayesian inference techniques to search for and obtain valid instruments in dynamic panel data models where endogenous variables may exist. The use of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) allows for obtaining a reduced number

The main goal of a scientific journal is to diffuse new knowledge. The number of citations received by a journal can be considered as a measure of this objective and, in turn, as a measure of productivity in relation to the production process in which ...

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.

When Inflation Drives Twin Deficits Catch in the Eurozone [PDF]
The paper explores the impact of inflation on the validity of the twin deficits hypothesis (TDH) in the Eurozone countries, focussing on how different inflation levels influence twin deficit existence (i.e., a positive relation between fiscal and ...

Aggregation in Linear Models for Panel Data
We study the impact of individual and temporal aggregation in linear static and dynamic models for panel data in terms of model specification and efficiency of the estimated parameters. Model wise we find that i) individual aggregation does not affect the model structure but temporal aggregation may introduce residual autocorrelation, and ii ...

Genetic testing in epithelial ovarian cancer includes both germline and tumor‐testing. This approach often duplicates resources. The current prospective study assessed the feasibility of tumor‐first multigene testing by comparing tumor tissue with germline testing of peripheral blood using an 18‐gene NGS panel in 106 patients.
