Threshold Regression with Endogeneity for Short Panels [PDF]
This paper considers the estimation of dynamic threshold regression models with fixed effects using short panel data. We examine a two-step method, where the threshold parameter is estimated nonparametrically at the N-rate and the remaining parameters are estimated by GMM at the N -rate.

One shareholder may invest in different listed energy companies, so the information held by common shareholders can be transmitted among companies. Based on the two-mode complex network method, we construct an information flow shareholder-based network ...

Quantile regression with panel data [PDF]
We propose a generalization of the linear quantile regression model to accommodate possibilities afforded by panel data. Specifically, we extend the correlated random coefficients representation of linear quantile regression (e.g., Koenker, 2005; Section 2.6).

Generalized linear mixed quantile regression with panel data.
A new generalized linear mixed quantile model for panel data is proposed. This proposed approach applies GEE with smoothed estimating functions, which leads to asymptotically equivalent estimation of the regression coefficients.

Factors Influencing Physicians Migration—A Case Study from Romania
Brain drain is a phenomenon that, over time, has followed an upward trend. It is an important component represented by physicians’ migration. For the country of destination, the migration of physicians offers several advantages, whereas the country of ...

Predictive Regressions with Panel Data [PDF]
This paper analyzes panel data inference in predictive regressions with endogenous and nearly persistent regressors. The standard fixed effects estimator is shown to suffer from a second order bias; analytical results, as well as Monte Carlo evidence, show that the bias and resulting size distortions can be severe.
