Chemical control of upland rice blast: effects on fungi not targeted by phylloplane
Upland rice blast significantly affects yield, requiring one or two fungicides applications to control it. However, the effect of fungicides on beneficial fungi and on fungi not targeted by rice phylloplane are unknown.

TED1 Promotes the Assembly of SCFD3‐D14‐D53 to Reinforce Strigolactone Signaling in Rice
This study identifies TED1 as a positive regulator of strigolactones (SL) signaling in rice. The ted1 mutants display dwarfism and increased tillering with significantly reduced SLs sensitivity. Through its longer C‐terminal region, TED1 interacts with D53 and D14 to promote the assembly of SCFD3‐D14‐D53, thereby facilitating the efficient ...

Relationship between blast severity on seedlings and panicles of Brazilian oat cultivars [PDF]
ABSTRACT: Blast, caused by Pyricularia oryzae, threats black (Avena strigosa) and white (A. sativa) oats in Brazil. Little is known about the reaction of Brazilian oat cultivars to blast and if there is a relationship between the response of cultivars to the disease at seedling and adult plant stages.

Salt stress significantly impacts plant growth. Through population transcriptome, eQTL and TWAS analyses, we identified several candidate genes potentially associated with salt stress response. Functional assays suggested that some of these genes may contribute to salt tolerance.

This study integrates rice immune perception, signal transduction, and resistance output into a multi‐omics framework. By combining high‐throughput sequencing, phenomics, and AI‐assisted design with marker‐assisted selection, gene editing, and rapid domestication, we aim to accelerate the precise breeding of disease‐resistant rice varieties by ...
