Exploring Factors Influencing Wealth‐Related Disparities in Institutional Delivery: A Decomposition Analysis Using Bangladesh Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2019

Around half of all deliveries in Bangladesh occur in health facilities, and institutional deliveries are significantly more common among wealthier, urban, and educated women. Regionally, the highest institutional delivery rate was found in Khulna division, whereas Mymensingh division had the lowest.
