Analysis of pantographic recordings

The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 1970
Abstract Reproducibility of pantographic recordings was tested. Six pantographic recordings were performed on seven patients over a period of two months time. Three tracings were recorded under control conditions, and three were recorded under the experimental conditions (the suggested technique).

Multibody Modeling of Pantographs for Pantograph-Catenary Interaction

2007
In the great majority of railway networks the electrical power is provided to the locomotives by the pantograph-catenary system. From the mechanical point of view, the single most important feature of this system consists in the quality of the contact between the contact wire(s) of the catenary and the contact strips of the pantograph.

Anisotropic pantograph

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1987
A new scaling linkage is presented which allows arbitrary magnification or reduction of curves and drawings in the y direction while leaving dimensions in the x direction unchanged. The anisotropic pantograph represents a significant simplification over previously reported devices capable of this operation.

Uni-axial pantograph

Journal of Scientific Instruments, 1961
A description is given of a simple and effective drafting instrument for changing the scale of a graphical trace along one axis only, leaving the other axis unaltered.

Improved pantograph clutches fabricated intraorally

The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 1985
A technique that improves intraorally made autopolymerizing resin pantograph clutches has been presented. The resulting clutches are comfortable and stable. Even after removing and reinserting the clutches several times, retention is sufficient to support the weight of the pantograph.
