Analysis of pantographic recordings
The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 1970Abstract Reproducibility of pantographic recordings was tested. Six pantographic recordings were performed on seven patients over a period of two months time. Three tracings were recorded under control conditions, and three were recorded under the experimental conditions (the suggested technique).

A Pantograph for Body Contours
The British Journal of Radiology, 1957When X-ray treatments are being planned, it is necessary to know the body contour. Various methods may be used to obtain a reproduction of this, such as plaster casts, flexible rules or one of the devices which have been designed specially for the purpose (Treherne and Greening, 1952; Spicer, 1954); the contours so obtained have then to be transferred ...

Abstract The combination of a personal computer and a printer provides remarkable opportunities for text editing and storing. The main idea of this project was to construct a pantograph with the similar features of a text editing computer. In order to realise a pantograph with microcomputer an X-Y table and an Amstrad CPC 6128 computer have been used.

Multibody Modeling of Pantographs for Catenary-Pantograph Interaction
2008In the great majority of railway networks the electrical power is provided to the locomotives by the pantograph-catenary system. From the mechanical point of view, the single most important feature of this system consists in the quality of the contact between the contact wire(s) of the catenary and the contact strips of the pantograph.

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1987
A new scaling linkage is presented which allows arbitrary magnification or reduction of curves and drawings in the y direction while leaving dimensions in the x direction unchanged. The anisotropic pantograph represents a significant simplification over previously reported devices capable of this operation.

Drawing as a means of expression has evolved over time, as, and through a means of computation: Since pre-historic time, humankind has been involved in drawing through a myriad forms of mediums that, over many years, have evolved to be increasingly computation-driven.

Dynamics of Pantograph–Catenary Arc During the Pantograph Lowering Process
IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, 2016Pantograph–catenary (PC) arc has become an obstacle for the further development of high-speed railway. Understanding on the underlying physical mechanisms of PC arc dynamics is still far away from satisfactory; therefore, researches from both experimental and numerical aspects are urgently required.
