Importin 7 mediates the nuclear import of HIV‐1 integrase via a specific interacting interface
HIV‐1 integrase enables viral DNA integration into the host genome. By binding to the core domain of the host protein Importin 7 via its C‐terminal domain, the integrase is transported across the nuclear membrane into the nucleus, where integration of the viral genome into host DNA takes place. This translocation is a critical step for subsequent viral

From Microfluidic Paper-Based Analytical Devices to Paper-Based Biofluidics with Integrated Continuous Perfusion [PDF]
As a kind of facile tool, microfluidic paper-based analytical devices (μPADs) have been widely used in analytical and biomedical fields. However, because we lack the ability to control the continuous perfusion of these devices, they are not generally ...

Epilepsy‐Associated Variants of a Single SCN1A Codon Exhibit Divergent Functional Properties
ABSTRACT Objective Pathogenic variants in SCN1A, which encodes the voltage‐gated sodium channel NaV1.1, are associated with multiple epilepsy syndromes exhibiting a range of clinical severity. SCN1A variants are reported in different syndromes, including Dravet syndrome, which is associated with loss‐of‐function, whereas neonatal/infantile‐onset ...

LED&Paper-based analytical device for phosphatemia/calcemia diagnostics☆
In this communication a prototype of paper-based analytical device designed for simultaneous determination of orthophosphate and calcium ions, which levels are significant for hyperphosphatemia diagnostics, is presented. The laboratory-on-paper structure for two analytes detection was wax-printed on the surface of filter paper.

ABSTRACT Background Collaterals are crucial factors that influence the infarct growth rate (IGR). We aimed to determine whether a comprehensive multimodal collateral score (MCS), incorporating collateral assessment at the arterial, tissue, and venous levels, is associated with functional independence and provides incremental prognostic value over ...
