Preaching: where we\u27re going [PDF]

open access: yes, 1982
This article follows upon an earlier article (\u27Preaching: where we\u27ve been\u27, Consensus 8,3-11 Ja 82). Developments in communication, technology, hermeneutics and myth directed preaching to understand itself as \u27event\u27 and therefore to ...

Terahertz Volume Plasmon‐Polariton Modulation in All‐Dielectric Hyperbolic Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
THz volume plasmon‐polariton (VPP) propagation through plasmon‐based hyperbolic metamaterials, made of alternating layers of doped and undoped III‐V semiconductors. Abstract The development of plasmonics and related applications in the terahertz range faces limitations due to the intrinsic high electron density of the standard metals.

Critical Reflection on the Parables of the Leaven and the Mustard Seed as Foundational for Postmillennialist Eschatology

open access: yesKairos (English Ed.), 2010
This article analyzes one part of postmillennialist eschatology which claims that the kingdom of God before Christ’s second coming will be victorious in transforming every aspect of all societies of this world.

Enhancing Triplet Excitons Lifetime Through Controlled Intermolecular Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Singlet fission (SF) is investigated in pentacene embedded in a surface‐anchored metal–organic framework, enabling a molecular arrangement inaccessible in pure organic crystals. This architecture changes the singlet fission dynamics significantly and enhances the triplet lifetime by almost four orders of magnitude.

Selective Crystal Growth and Optical Responses of 2H and 3R Polytypes in van der Waals Polar Insulator α‐In2Se3

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Selective growth protocols are established to obtain high‐quality bulk single crystals of the 2H and 3R polytypes of the vdW polar insulator α‐In2Se3, together with rapid, non‐destructive phase‐identification methods. Combined optical transmission and absolute reflectivity measurements, supported by DFT calculations, reveal distinct polytype‐dependent ...

When patrons are patrons: A social-scientific and realistic reading of the parable of the Feast (Lk 14:16b–23)

open access: yesHTS Teologiese Studies/Theological Studies, 2013

Origen and Jerome as Exegetes of the Parables from the Gospel of St. Matthew - Elements in Common and Differences

open access: yesVox Patrum
The article is an attempt to examine the degree of dependency of Jerome’s exegesis of the parables from the Gospel of St. Matthew on the exegesis of the same texts by Origen. The primary sources are Jerome’s Commentary on the Gospel of St.

Electroluminescence and Franz–Keldysh Modulation Observed in Sn/Ge Multi‐Quantum Wells

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
We investigate the optoelectronic properties of PIN diodes based on ultrathin α‐Sn/Ge multiple quantum film structures, fabricated by molecular beam epitaxy, both experimentally and theoretically. The samples exhibit a light emission spectrum in the short‐wavelength infrared range with two transitions. Furthermore, when operating as a photodetector, we
