Parallelized Program Analysis.

open access: yes, 2010
This thesis presents a framework for parallelized program analysis. It uses available parallel processing power in standard desktop computers to speed up static program analysis. Today, processor chip manufacturers produce single processor chips containing multiple cores, each with a processing power of previous single-core processors.

Nutrient/TOR signaling controls adipose mitochondrial transcription factor A (TFAM) to regulate organismal growth in Drosophila

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Animals must match their growth rate to available nutrients. We show that in Drosophila larvae, the nutrient‐sensing TOR kinase controls growth by regulating levels of TFAM, a key regulator of mitochondrial function, in the adipose tissue. When nutrients are abundant, high TOR activity suppresses TFAM, lowering mitochondrial bioenergetic activity and ...

Identifying Carbon Star Candidates from LAMOST DR11 and SDSS DR18 Based on a Parallel Feature Recognition Method

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series
Carbon stars are critical for understanding stellar evolution and exploring cosmic chemistry. This paper provides 7809 carbon star candidates identified from the Large-Area Multi-Object Fiber Optic Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST) DR11 and Sloan Digital ...

Epigenetic reprogramming of lineage switching in cancer

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cancer cells rarely commit to a single identity. Epigenetic mechanisms and tumor microenvironment cues push epithelial cells toward flexible, hybrid states that can shift into mesenchymal, neuroendocrine, or stem‐like fates, driving metastasis, drug resistance, and tumor heterogeneity. Targeting the epigenetic regulators behind these transitions, using

The microbiome in human skin aging

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐related skin changes encompass the well‐known visible phenotypic alterations, together with microbiome dysbiosis and a series of molecular aging hallmarks. These hallmarks characterize not only a fully stablished aged phenotype but also the skin aging process itself.

2RPS/2SPS Parallel Mechanism and Kinematics Analysis

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2020
Based on constraint spiral theory, the modified Grübler-Kutzbach formula is used to analyze the degree of freedom of 2RPS/2SPS parallel mechanism. The inverse positional solution equation is established by the space coordinate transformation equation and ...

Autophagy and mitophagy in pancreatic β‐cell homeostasis and their involvement in diabetes pathophysiology

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This review focuses on the role of autophagy and mitophagy in maintaining pancreatic β‐cell function and homeostasis. We discuss how genetic defects affecting these pathways contribute to the development of type 1, type 2, monogenic, and gestational diabetes. We further explore their potential as therapeutic targets. Created in BioRender.
