The Effect of Parameter Mismatches in RF VCO

2008 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2008
We investigate the effect of the parameter mismatches on the oscillation frequency of a popular voltage controlled oscillator, whose behavior is schematized by a system of two mutually coupled oscillators. A perturbation analysis of this system is carried out using the method of two time scale.

Impact of Mismatch on Microwave Power Dividers Parameters

2018 XIV International Scientific-Technical Conference on Actual Problems of Electronics Instrument Engineering (APEIE), 2018
In the paper the impact of mismatch in microwave transmission lines on the parameters of power dividers is researched. Equations for evaluation of the difference in the power division factors in comparison with the matched mode are obtained. The analysis allows to establish the allowable requirements for the mismatch.

Automated identification of parameter mismatches in web applications

Proceedings of the 16th ACM SIGSOFT International Symposium on Foundations of software engineering, 2008
Quality assurance techniques for web applications have become increasingly important as web applications have gained in popularity and become an essential part of our daily lives. To integrate content and data from multiple sources, the components of a web application communicate extensively among themselves.

Predictor type temperature control design through parameter mismatches

Proceedings of the 1997 American Control Conference (Cat. No.97CH36041), 1997
In this paper, the Smith-predictor is used to regulate the liquid temperature for a precision machine. It is chosen because of its delay-free characteristic and suitability for regulating systems with excessively long time delay. Detailed analyses of system performance through parametric and temporal mismatch are investigated and accompanied with ...

On the universal misfit parameter at mismatched interfaces

Scripta Materialia, 2001
Abstract A general expression for an universal misfit parameter explored in the epitaxy of dissimilar materials, is derived. This universal parameter accounts both for crystal lattice mismatch and elastic dissimilarity of constituent phases. The application of the proposed approach to epitaxy of cubic metals growing on (0 0 1) SrTiO 3 , is discussed.

Automatic Smith-predictor tuning using optimal parameter mismatch

IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2002
The Smith-predictor is famous for its delay-free characteristic and suitable for regulating systems with an excessively long time delay. However, it is sensitive to plant parameter variations based on some frequency domain studies. In this paper, detailed analyzes of the system performance through parametric and temporal mismatch are investigated and ...

Anticipating Synchronization of Chaotic Systems with Parameter Mismatch

2008 The 9th International Conference for Young Computer Scientists, 2008
This paper studies the effect of parameter mismatch on anticipating synchronization of chaotic systems in the framework of master-slave configuration. We estimate the error bound of anticipating synchronization by rigorously theoretical analysis. Numerical simulations are presented to verify the theoretical results.

Nearest Neighbor Thermodynamic Parameters for Internal G·A Mismatches in DNA

Biochemistry, 1998
Thermodynamics of 22 oligonucleotides with internal single G.A mismatches dissolved in 1 M NaCl were determined from absorbance versus temperature melting curves. These data, combined with five literature sequences, were used to derive nearest-neighbor thermodynamic parameters for seven linearly independent trimer sequences with internal G.A mismatches
