This paper presents a multi-objective digital PID controller design method using the parameter space approach of robust control. Absolute stability is treated first by finding the digital PID controller gain parameter space corresponding to closed loop ...

Parameter spaces for quadrics [PDF]
The parameter spaces for quadrics are reviewed. In addition, an explicit formula for the number of quadrics tangent to given linear subspaces is presented. 1. Schubert’s problem. 1.1. One century ago, in 1894, Schubert considered the following problem: Let P be a projective space.

Chern-Simons Soliton Dynamics in Modular Parameter Space [PDF]
We study dynamics of non-relativistic Chern-Simons solitons, both in the absence and in the presence of external fields. We find that a phase, related to the $1$-cocyle of the Galileo group, must be included to give the correct dynamical behavior.

Locating ergostar models in parameter space [PDF]
Recently, we have shown that dynamically stable ergostar solutions (equilibrium neutron stars that contain an ergoregion) with a compressible and causal equation of state exist [A. Tsokaros, M. Ruiz, L. Sun, S. L. Shapiro, and K. Ury , Phys. Rev. Lett. 123, 231103 (2019)]. These stars are hypermassive, differentially rotating, and highly compact.

Parton Distributions in Impact Parameter Space
Fourier transform of the generalized parton distributions (GPDs) at zero skewness with respect to the transverse momentum transfer gives the distribution of partons in the impact parameter space.

Parameter Identifiability for Nonlinear LPV Models
Linear parameter varying (LPV) models are being increasingly used as a bridge between linear and nonlinear models. From a mathematical point of view, a large class of nonlinear models can be rewritten in LPV or quasi-LPV forms easing their analysis. From

A new parameter space study of cosmological microlensing [PDF]
Cosmological gravitational microlensing is a useful technique for understanding the structure of the inner parts of a quasar, especially the accretion disk and the central supermassive black hole.

Quantum parameter space in super Yang-Mills, II [PDF]
In [1] (hep-th/0211069), the author has discussed the quantum parameter space of the N=1 super Yang-Mills theory with one adjoint Higgs field Phi, tree-level superpotential W_tree = m (Phi^2)/2 + g (Phi^3)/3$, and gauge group U(Nc).

Functional variation among LPMOs revealed by the inhibitory effects of cyanide and buffer ions
This study addresses the inhibition of lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMOs) by cyanide and explains how and why the magnitude of observed inhibitory effects depends on the way LPMO reactions are setup and on the type of LPMO. Enzymes known as lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMOs) are mono‐copper polysaccharide‐degrading peroxygenases that ...

Scanning the Parameter Space of Holographic Superconductors
We study various physical quantities associated with holographic s-wave superconductors as functions of the scaling dimensions of the dual condensates. A bulk scalar field with negative mass squared $m^2$, satisfying the Breitenlohner-Freedman stability ...
