Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Verification of Computing Grids with Special Edge Conditions by Infinite Petri Nets

open access: yesМоделирование и анализ информационных систем, 2012
A technique of the computing grid verification using invariants of infinite Petri nets was presented. Models of square grid structures in the form of parametric Petri nets for such edge conditions as connection of edges and truncated devices were ...

Development of Parametric Mesh Morphing Technique

open access: yesTRANSACTIONS OF THE JAPAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Series C, 2008
We developed the parametric mesh morphing technique, which can be used to change the shape of existing analytical mesh models, and generate a mesh model for a new shape by morphing the mesh model for the previous one. Therefore, our method is suitable to use for analysis during the early stage of design because it reduces the amount of time required to

Crucial parameters for precise copy number variation detection in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded solid cancer samples

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

Parametric Control to a Type of Descriptor Quasi-Linear Systems via Output Feedback

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper investigates the parametric design method to a type of descriptor quasi-linear systems whose coefficient matrices contain system variables and time-varying parameters.

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Tumor mutational burden as a determinant of metastatic dissemination patterns

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study performed a comprehensive analysis of genomic data to elucidate whether metastasis in certain organs share genetic characteristics regardless of cancer type. No robust mutational patterns were identified across different metastatic locations and cancer types.
