Analysis and Modeling of Frequency-Domain Compensation Techniques for High Bandwidth Shunt Resistors

open access: yesIEEE Access
Bandwidth is a critical performance parameter for current measurement systems using shunt resistors. To accurately reproduce measured currents, especially nonsinusoidal waveforms rich in harmonic content, shunt-based sensors must maintain sufficient ...

Buckling‐Driven Linearity in Flexible Capacitive Pressure Sensors Based on a Three‐Dimensional Dual‐Pore Polyurethane Structure

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A flexible pressure sensor utilizing a 3D dual‐pore polyurethane structure is developed to overcome the intrinsic trade‐off between sensitivity and linearity. By inducing sequential buckling through distinct pore sizes and shapes, the device achieves highly linear and sensitive responses across a wide pressure range.

Parasitic Capacitance Effects Of The Multilevel Interconnects In Dram Circuits [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
The parasitic capacitance effects of the multilevel interconnects in DRAM circuits have been studied. Signal crosstalk such as intra- and inter- bit-line-to-bit-line coupling, bit-line-to-work-line coupling, and substrate noise coupling resulting from ...

A Self-Compensating Non-Intrusive Ring-Type AC Voltage Sensor Based on Capacitive Coupling

open access: yesMicromachines
In order to reduce the influence of coupling capacitance variations on cable voltage measurement, this paper proposes a self-compensating non-intrusive ring-type AC voltage sensor based on capacitive coupling.

Fully Printed Electrocaloric Heat Pump

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A system based on a flexible printed PEDOT:PSS/P(VDF‐TrFE‐CFE) electrocaloric membrane. The membrane periodically alternates between the cold and hot sides following its electrocaloric cycle and successfully generates a temperature difference. The entire fabrication process is industrially scalable, cost‐effective, and based on widely accessible ...

A new method for the removal of parasitic capacitances from sub-100nm MOSFETs using low-noise split capacitance-voltage measurements [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The physical shape of MOSFETs and the processing involved in their fabrication give rise to parasitic capacitances. These capacitances are typically small compared to the intrinsic channel capacitance of the device, but as MOSFETs scale into the sub ...

Design and Characterisation of an EIT Current Supply Module

open access: yesCurrent Directions in Biomedical Engineering
Electrical Impedance Tomography is used to image the cross-sectional conductivity of an object. It is clinically used for high-frame-rate imaging of lung ventilation. Most current systems use very limited current injection wave-forms and patterns.

Fully Integrated Low-Noise Readout Circuit with Automatic Offset Cancellation Loop for Capacitive Microsensors

open access: yesSensors, 2015
Capacitive sensing schemes are widely used for various microsensors; however, such microsensors suffer from severe parasitic capacitance problems. This paper presents a fully integrated low-noise readout circuit with automatic offset cancellation loop ...
