Submicron Metasurface Reconfigured Multiband Smart Windows
This work presents a submicron metasurface reconfigured multiband thermochromic smart window. By integrating subwavelength nanostructures into a Fabry−Perot resonator configuration, it mitigates conventional trade‐offs to simultaneously deliver high luminous transmittance and robust solar heating and radiative cooling modulation capabilities ...

Wood Cellulosic Membrane With Abundant Nanochannels for Stabilizing Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries
A wood‐derived cellulosic membrane separator is developed to suppress dendrite growth in aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. Its aligned nanochannels and hydroxyl‐rich surfaces enable uniform Zn2+ flux, water immobilization, and interfacial stabilization. Zn||Zn cells achieve 1920 h of cycling, Zn||Cu cells maintain 99.5% Coulombic efficiency over 1000 cycles,

Due to increasing restrictions on the use of toxic and expensive nematicides, there is now a greater than ever need for crop cultivars that are resistant to plant-parasitic nematodes. Genetically engineered nematode resistance is not as well developed as

Unlocking the development- and physiology-altering ‘effector toolbox’ of plant-parasitic nematodes
Plant parasites take advantage of host developmental plasticity to elicit profound developmental and physiological changes. In the case of plant-parasitic nematodes (PPNs), these changes can result in the development of new plant organs.

The active role of KCl as a neutral electrolyte enables switching the selectivity on a Cu organic framework from C1 to C2+ products during electrocatalytic CO2 reduction. ABSTRACT We introduce a copper‐nicotinate (Cu‐NA) framework as a halogenide‐stabilized Cu+/Cu0 pre‐catalyst for electrocatalytic CO2 reduction with high C2+ selectivity in a “neutral”

Preliminary survey of plant-parasitic nematodes associated with grapevines in Blenheim, New Zealand
Plant-parasitic nematodes threaten horticultural crops, causing damage by feeding on plant roots, reducing yields, and affecting global food security.

Two-step learning involved in acquiring olfactory preferences for plant volatiles by parasitic wasps
Aphidius ervi is a parasitic wasp of several aphid species, including Acyrthosiphon pisum. This wasp is used as a biological control agent of its host aphid species in many regions of the world. Compared with responses to volatiles from intact plants, A.

This study addresses silicon anode degradation using an engineered nSi/Gr/C dual‐carbon matrix. By restricting SEI infiltration, the architecture redirects silicon agglomeration into a beneficial structural self‐adaptive activation. During cycling, silicon nanoparticles self‐organize into a resilient nanoporous sponge. This dynamic network accommodates

We studied the composition of the parasitic nematodes in the flowering and ornamental plants cultivated at the greenhouse facilities in the city of Kyiv. We found 9 species from the genera Meloidogyne Goeldi, 1887, Ditylenchus Filipjev, 1936, Pratylenchus Filipjev, 1934, Rotylenchus Filipjev, 1936, Tylenchorhynchus Cobb, 1913, Helicotylenchus Steiner ...
