In vitro effects of three woody plant and sainfoin extracts on two parasitic stage of 3 parasitic nematode species [PDF]
Most studies on the effects of tanniferous plants on nematodes have examined forages but have neglected the woody plants. Therefore, in vitro effects of extracts from 3 woody plants (Rubus fructicosus, Quercus robur, Corylus avellana) have been tested on

Plant parasitic nematode proteins and the host parasite interaction [PDF]
This review focuses on the proteins and secretions of sedentary plant parasitic nematodes potentially important for plant-nematode interactions. These nematodes are well equipped for parasitism of plants. Having acquired the ability to manipulate fundamental aspects of plant biology, they are able to hijack host-cell development to make their feeding ...

In this strategy, a conductive nano‐probe is employed to induce nanoscale phase transitions and map the nanoscale conductivity and trap density of GST films. By utilizing the contrasting properties of phase‐change states, nano‐resonators are fabricated that exhibit plasmonic conduction and dramatically different transport characteristics.

Geographical distribution and aspects of the ecology of the hemiparasitic angiosperm Striga asiatica (L) Kuntze: A herbarium study [PDF]
Striga asiatica (Scrophulariaceae) is an obligate root hemiparasite of mainly C-4 grasses (including cereals). It is the most widespread of the 42 Striga species occurring in many semi-tropical, semi-arid regions of mainly the Old World.

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Integration of Low‐Voltage Nanoscale MoS2 Memristors on CMOS Microchips
This article presents the first monolithic integration of nanoscale MoS2‐based memristors into the back‐end‐of‐line of foundry‐fabricated CMOS microchips in a one‐transistor‐one‐resistor (1T1R) architecture. The MoS2‐based 1T1R cells exhibit forming‐free, nonvolatile resistive switching with ultra‐low operating voltages, low cycle‐to‐cycle variability ...

First incursion of the Asian root mealybug Ripersiella planetica in Europe (Hemiptera, Coccoidea, Rhizoecidae) [PDF]
The Rhizoecidae is a family of the Coccoidea (hodGSon, 2012) containing 233 species worldwide that are hypogaeic and parasitic on plant roots, hence their common name ‘root mealybugs’ (Kozár & Konczné BEnEdicty, 2007).

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.
