CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Numerical Solution of Elliptic Partial Differential Equation: Method of Lines and Crank-Nicholson Method

open access: yesPan-American Journal of Mathematics
The method of lines (MOL) is a solution procedure for solving partial differential equation (PDE) and the Crank-Nicholson method (CNM) is an implicit finite difference method, used to solve the elliptic equation and similar partial differential equations

A Complete Equational Axiomatisation of Partial Differentiation

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, 2020
We formalise the well-known rules of partial differentiation in a version of equational logic with function variables and binding constructs. We prove the resulting theory is complete with respect to polynomial interpretations. The proof makes use of Severi's interpolation theorem that all multivariate Hermite problems are solvable.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

ON SINGULAR SOLUTIONS OF CLAIRAUT EQUATIONS IN THE THEORY OF ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL AND PARTIAL DERIVATIVE EQUATIONS

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений. Поволжский регион: Физико-математические науки, 2020
Background. There is no problem in finding a general solution to the ordinary differential Clairaut equation. The corresponding procedure is described in details in the theory of ordinary differential equations.

Solving Higher Orders Linear Complex Partial Differential Equations via Two Dimensional Differential Transform Method [PDF]

open access: yesمجلة جامعة الانبار للعلوم الصرفة
Complex partial differential equation (CPDEs( appeared around the year 1900. D. Pompeiu was a famous mathematician who left a large impact in this field through introducing the Pompeiu integral operator, which forms a basis in the subject CDEs.

On the viscosity solutions of a stochastic differential utility problem [PDF]

open access: yes
We prove existence, uniqueness and gradient estimates of stochastic differential utility as a solution of the Cauchy problem for degenerate nonlinear partial differential equation.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Green's function of a centered partial difference equation

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2009
Applying a variation of Jacobi iteration we obtain the Green's function for the centered partial difference equation $$\Delta_{ww} u(x_{w-1},y_z) + \Delta_{zz} u(x_w,y_{z-1}) + f(u(x_w,y_z))=0,$$ which is the result of applying the finite difference ...
