In this paper, reduced differential transform method (RDTM) is employed to approximate the solutions of (2+1) dimensional type of the Zakharov-Kuznetsov partial differential equations. We apply these method to two examples.

Residual equilibrium schemes for time dependent partial differential equations [PDF]
Many applications involve partial differential equations which admits nontrivial steady state solutions. The design of schemes which are able to describe correctly these equilibrium states may be challenging for numerical methods, in particular for high ...

Knowing how proteases recognise preferred substrates facilitates matching proteases to applications. The S1′ pocket of protease EA1 directs cleavage to the N‐terminal side of hydrophobic residues, particularly leucine. The S1′ pocket of thermolysin differs from EA's at only one position (leucine in place of phenylalanine), which decreases cleavage ...

Complex solutions of Monge-Amp\`ere equations
We describe a method to reduce partial differential equations of Monge-Amp\`ere type in 4 variables to complex partial differential equations in 2 variables. To illustrate this method, we construct explicit holomorphic solutions of the special lagrangian

Interpolation and partial differential equations
One of the main motivations for developing the theory of interpolation was to apply it to the theory of partial differential equations (PDEs). Nowadays interpolation theory has been developed in an almost unbelievable way {see the bibliography of Maligranda [Interpolation of Operators and Applications (1926–1990), 2nd ed. (Luleå University, Luleå, 1993)

Exploring lipid diversity and minimalism to define membrane requirements for synthetic cells
Designing the lipid membrane of synthetic cells is a complex task, in which its various roles (among them solute transport, membrane protein support, and self‐replication) should all be integrated. In this review, we report the latest top‐down and bottom‐up advances and discuss compatibility and complexity issues of current engineering approaches ...

Teaching Partial Differential Equations with CAS [PDF]
Partial Differential Equations (PDE) are one of the topics where Engineering students find more difficulties when facing Math subjects. A basic course in Partial Differential Equations (PDE) in Engineering, usually deals at least, with the following ...

Block Spins for Partial Differential Equations
We investigate the use of renormalisation group methods to solve partial differential equations (PDEs) numerically. Our approach focuses on coarse-graining the underlying continuum process as opposed to the conventional numerical analysis method of ...

Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is a genetic disease affecting motor neurons. Individuals with SMA experience mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of an antioxidant and neuroprotective substance, ergothioneine (ERGO), on an SMNΔ7 mouse model of SMA.
