Wheezing reveals important cues that can be useful in alerting about respiratory disorders, such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Early detection of wheezing through auscultation will allow the physician to be aware of the existence of the ...

Existence of solutions for 4p-order PDES with Neumann boundary conditions
In this work, we study the existence of at least one non decreasing sequence of nonnegative eigenvalues for the problem: {Δ2pu=λm(x)u in Ω,∂u∂v=∂(Δu)∂v=…=∂(Δ2p-1u)∂v=0 on ∂Ω.\left\{ {\matrix{ {{\Delta ^{2p}}u = \lambda m\left( x \right)u ...

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Design of Partial Mueller-Matrix Polarimeters for Application-Specific Sensors
At a particular frequency, most materials and objects of interest exhibit a polarization signature, or Mueller matrix, of limited dimensionality, with many matrix elements either negligibly small or redundant due to symmetry.

This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

Some results on the partial orderings of block matrices
Some results relating to the block matrix partial orderings and the submatrix partial orderings are given. Special attention is paid to the star ordering of a sum of two matrices and the minus ordering of matrix product. Several equivalent conditions for

Group-Theoretic Partial Matrix Multiplication
A generalization of recent group-theoretic matrix multiplication algorithms to an analogue of the theory of partial matrix multiplication is presented. We demonstrate that the added flexibility of this approach can in some cases improve upper bounds on the exponent of matrix multiplication yielded by group-theoretic full matrix multiplication.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.
