A Note on Pcodes of Partial Words
In this paper, we study partial words in relation with pcodes, compatibility, and containment. First, we introduce C⊂(L), the set of all partial words contained by elements of L, and C⊃(L), the set of all partial words containing elements of L, for a set L of partial words.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Electron transfer between complexes III and IV in S. cerevisiae mitochondrial membranes
Mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation in S. cerevisiae mitoplasts is limited by complex IV catalytic capacity, rather than two‐dimensional cytochrome c diffusion. At physiological cytochrome c : supercomplex ratios at salinity equivalent to that of 20 mm monovalent salt, activity is maximized, indicating that this low ionic strength accurately mimics

Particularities of partial interrogatives in the written didactic discourse [PDF]
Partial interrogatives (PIs) are very well highlighted at morphological level and are marked by the occurrence of the interrogative word. Therefore, they are best represented in the didactic discourse.

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Text Classification Using Word-Based PPM Models [PDF]
Text classification is one of the most actual among the natural language processing problems. In this paper the application of word-based PPM (Prediction by Partial Matching) model for automatic content-based text classification is described.

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Emotion in Chinese Words Could Not Be Extracted in Continuous Flash Suppression
Previous studies have demonstrated the automatic vigilance effect for faces and pictures and have attributed it to the brain’s prioritized unconscious evaluation of early evolutionary stimuli that are critical to survival.
