Effect of beam profile and partial coherence on coherent beam combining performance
Abstract A numerical model of a coherent beam composed of a two-dimensional array of laser beams was developed; the model enables analysis of random phase mismatch in the combined system, as well as analysis of the influence of atmospheric turbulence.

Low‐voltage FIB‐SEM tomography combined with a image preprocessing pipeline improves phase contrast and enables reliable machine‐learning segmentation of conductive networks in lithium‐ion battery electrodes. Structural descriptors are extracted from segmented images, done semimanually and automated, and compared.

The Spreading and Wander of a Gaussian Schell-Model Beam Through Oceanic Turbulence
In this paper, we investigate the propagation properties of a partially coherent Gaussian Schell-model (GSM) beam by effective beam parameters in oceanic turbulence.

Coherence vortices in Mie scattered nonparaxial partially coherent beams
We have previously demonstrated that Mie scattering of partially coherent plane waves can create coherence vortices, namely screw-type dislocations in the phase of the spectral degree of coherence. However, plane waves are an idealization and in practice, optical beams are often much closer to reality.

This review highlights advances in lightweight, lead‐free polymer nanocomposites for diagnostic X‐ray shielding. By linking filler chemistry, dispersion, architecture, and photon interaction mechanisms, it establishes structure–performance relationships guiding material design.

Singularities of Partially Polarized Vortex Beams
Singularities in the polarization state of non-uniform electromagnetic beams have been a topic of both theoretical and practical interest for many years, as have singularities in the correlation functions of random scalar wavefields.

In the theory of partial coherence, coherence singularities can occur in the spectral degree of coherence (SDOC): in case the fields at two different points are completely uncorrelated, the phase of the SDOC is undefined.
