Abstract Aluminum phyllosilicates occur in 1–10s of km2 exposures of Noachian (∼3.7 Ga) rock across Mars and typically appear stratigraphically above Fe/Mg‐phyllosilicates. These units have been proposed to represent pedogenic basalt weathering sequences.

Abstract Visible spectra of the Enceladus particle plume and E ring contain evidence for a change in spectral slope around 0.5 μm. This feature can be seen in data obtained by both the Visual and Infrared Mapping Spectrometer and Imaging Science Subsystem onboard the Cassini Spacecraft, and is consistent with the slope change seen in the surface ...

Abstract This paper explores the impact of natural phenomena on signal data transmission across various ionospheric communication channels. The study focuses on three primary phenomena: meteor trails prevalent in the middle‐ and lower‐latitude ionosphere, bubble and plume structures observed around the equatorial ionosphere, and magnetic‐storm‐induced ...

Abstract Auroral precipitation plays a key role in coupling the Magnetosphere–Ionosphere–Thermosphere system by modifying ionospheric conductance, currents, atmospheric heating, and upper‐atmospheric dynamics. Leveraging 17 years of electron spectrum data from the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP), we developed a Machine Learning‐based ...

Latitudinal Dependence of the Geomagnetic and Solar Activity Effect on Sporadic‐E Layer
Abstract Based on the global COSMIC occultation data, the latitudinal dependence of the geomagnetic and solar activity effect on the sporadic‐E (Es) layer is statically investigated. At middle geomagnetic latitudes, Es occurrence rates generally decrease with increasing solar activity, except during winter and spring in the Southern Hemisphere.
