Variations on Pascal’s theorem
In this paper we present a variety of statements that are in the spirit of the famous theorem of Pascal, often referred to as the Mystic Hexagon. We give explicit equations describing the conditions for $d+4$ points to lie on rational normal curves. A collection of problems of Pascal type are considered for quadric surfaces in $\bbP^3$.

Maximising trait evenness promotes the recovery of plant species richness in managed grasslands
Land‐use intensification threatens biodiversity, and restoring degraded ecosystems remains challenging due to the difficulty of identifying the rules governing community assembly and dynamics. Investigating the temporal dynamics of trait‐abundance distributions (TADs) along long‐term time series offers a promising approach to disentangle the influence ...

Abstract Aims SPARCL1 was recently identified as a biomarker of right ventricular (RV) maladaptation in patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH), and N‐terminal pro‐brain natriuretic protein (NT‐proBNP) is an established biomarker of RV failure in PH. The present study investigated whether NT‐proBNP and SPARCL1 concentrations are associated with load ...
