MARKET REACTIONS TO THE PASSAGE OF THE FINANCIAL HOLDING COMPANY ACT IN TAIWAN

Abstract.  We examine how financial institutions react to various events surrounding the passage of Taiwan's Financial Holding Company Act in June 2001. Empirical results indicate that the financial system experiences significant abnormal returns along the legislative process.

불안은 유기체가 위험이나 친숙하지 않은 환경에 직면할 때 나타내는 가장 기본적인 반응으로서 정신의학, 정신분석, 그리고 일반적 의미를 갖는다. 본 연구는 프로이트와 라캉의 문헌 고찰을 통해 불안의 개념화와 정신분석 실천 함의를 구명한 논의이다. 프로이트의 1895년과 1926년 논문은 ‘자동적 불안과 신호불안’을 개념화한다. 라캉의 『세미나 2』와 『세미나 4』는 ‘조각난 몸/분리의 실패에 대한 두려움의 가면, 불안’을, 『세미나 8』과 『세미나 10』은 ‘결여가 결여된 주체의 속이지 않는 유일한 정동, 불안’을 개념화한다. 이러한 세 가지 불안 개념은 라캉의 후기 관점에서 상호 연결됨으로써 ‘신호와 자동화 사이에서 욕망 주체
