Passive Fault Tolerant Lateral Controller Design For an UAV
Abstract In this study a passive lateral fault tolerant controller for an UAV is designed using dynamic inversion (DI) method and robust integral of the signum of the error (RISE) techniques. The details of the methods are summarized. As the reference model of the tracking controller, UAV controlled by feedback type controller is used and the control

Passive Fault Tolerant Control of PEMFC air feeding system [PDF]
In this paper, a Passive Fault Tolerant Control strategy dedicated to air feeding system fault based on an auto-tuning PID regulator is designed and implemented on a real fuel cell test bench. The present work compares the auto-tuning PID strategy performance to classical PID controller and highlights its benefits during faulty operation.

Chronobiology of Cancer: How Aging Fuels Oncogenesis at the Molecular Level
This graphical abstract illustrates the key biological pathways linking aging with cancer development and progression. In the upper left, cumulative exposure to ultraviolet radiation, toxins, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) causes DNA damage and genomic instability, whereas age‐related decline in repair mechanisms, such as ATM/ATR, BER, and NER ...

Optimal Passive Fault Tolerant Control of a High Redundancy Actuator [PDF]
The High Redundancy Actuator (HRA) project deals with the construction of an actuator using many redundant actuation elements. If one element fails, this changes the behaviour slightly, but the system still remains operation. A key challenge in this project is to design a passive fault tolerant controller that maintains the required performance in the ...

A mixed active and passive GLR test for a fault tolerant control system
A mixed active and passive GLR test for a fault tolerant control system This paper presents an adaptive Generalized Likelihood Ratio (GLR) test for multiple Faults Detection and Isolation (FDI) in stochastic linear dynamic systems. Based on the work of Willsky and Jones (1976), we propose a modified generalized likelihood ratio test, allowing ...
