Study of passive control study of the cavitation instability on a venturi profile [PDF]
As a source of vibrations, noise, erosion and structure damages, cavitation is a major handicap for many industrial flows used in different domains from propeller or pump studies, to the analysis of hydrodynamic flows around a profile. This work presents

Cavitation regime detection through Proper Orthogonal Decomposition: dynamics analysis of the sheet cavity on a grooved convergent-divergent nozzle [PDF]
The unsteady character of the sheet cavity dynamics on the suction side of hydrofoils, on convergent–divergent nozzles or on blades in turbines and propellers is responsible for many issues like erosion, noise and vibrations. This two-phase flow dynamics

Comparison of Passive Flow Control Methods for a Cavity in Transonic Flow [PDF]
A comparative study of different passive control techniques was conducted on a cavity with a length of 320 mm with length-to-depth and length-to-width ratios of five and two, respectively. The tests were conducted at a freestream Mach number of 0.71. Both leading-edge and trailing-edge modifications were included in the studies.

Remote Monitoring in Myasthenia Gravis: Exploring Symptom Variability
ABSTRACT Background Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a rare, autoimmune disorder characterized by fluctuating muscle weakness and potential life‐threatening crises. While continuous specialized care is essential, access barriers often delay timely interventions. To address this, we developed MyaLink, a telemedical platform for MG patients.

Volumetric velocimetry study in a transitional wall jet flow with passive flow control via flaps [PDF]
Birds are remarkably good flyers and show very special adaptations in their wings for stall delay. The pop-up of some cover feathers during starting and landing gave the idea for the present study to investigate the influence on a wall jet when inserting

Energy-based Stabilization of Network Flows in Multi-machine Power Systems
This paper considers the network flow stabilization problem in power systems and adopts an output regulation viewpoint. Building upon the structure of a heterogeneous port-Hamiltonian model, we integrate network aspects and develop a systematic control ...

ABSTRACT Background Emerging evidence suggests that low‐frequency neural oscillations are dynamically regulated by consciousness levels, with the recovery of low cortical activity potentially serving as a neurophysiological substrate for conscious emergence. Targeted enhancement of these low‐frequency rhythms in patients with disorders of consciousness

ABSTRACT Objective To explore how cerebral hypoxia and Normal‐Appearing White Matter (NAWM) integrity affect MS lesion burden and clinical course. Methods Seventy‐nine MS patients, including 13 clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients and 66 relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, and 44 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited from ...
