Design of Terpene‐Based Eco‐Friendly Solution Process for High‐Performance Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High‐performance, terpene‐processed organic solar cells (OSCs) by designing a new green co‐solvent system consisting of eucalyptol (Eu) and 2‐methyltetrahydrofuran (MeTHF) are developed. The OSCs processed from the optimal ratio of Eu and MeTHF achieve the highest power conversion efficiency (PCE) value of 17.3% reported to date for terpene‐processed ...

A stochastic spreadsheet model analysing investment options for the development of pasture on beef cattle farms : a dissertation submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master in Applied Science at Massey University [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
The decision to proceed with farm development to increase animal production is complex. Standalone personal computer software to study either the financial or physical aspects of farm development is available, but models which integrate these components ...

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

Potential loss of nutrients from different rearing strategies for fattening pigs on pasture [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Nutrient load and distribution on pasture were investigated with fattening pigs that: 1) spend a proportion of or their entire life on pasture, 2) were fed either restrictively or ad libitum, and 3) were weaned at different times of the year. The N and P

Defects Dynamic in Photo‐Excited CeO2 and their Influence on CO2 Photoreduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy study under light excitation is presented to track the defect dynamic (Ce4+ to Ce3+) in CeO2. Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy confirmed the key role of Ce3+ states in controlling charge and energy transfer across the CeO2‐dye molecule interface.
