Planar Slot-Patch Antenna [PDF]
This paper discusses investigations of leaky wave radiation from the slotline made on a low permittivity substrate. New findings on the field distribution of the space leaky wave propagating on a slotline with a wide slot are presented. The design of the antenna and its measured parameters are introduced, along with practical experience acquired ...

Broadband microstrip patch antenna
The characteristics of a rectangular microstrip antenna with an L-shaped probe are investigated. A foam layer with a thickness of around 10% of the wavelength is used as the supporting substrate. An impedance bandwidth of 35% and an average gain of 7.5 dBi can be achieved. The radiation pattern is stable across the passband.
