IMAGE SYNTHESIS OF METAL FOAM MICRO-STRUCTURE WITH THE USE OF WANG TILES
In this paper we present our recent work focused on the analysis of the abilities of Wang Tiles method and Automatic tile design method to synthesize the micro-structure of cellular materials, especially particular type of metal foam.Wang Tiles method ...

Given the present obsession with pattern formation, it is hard to appreciate that 30 years ago there were but few eccentrics who knew what the words meant. In those days, any who tried to understand patterns searched throughout zoology and botany for colleagues who shared their interest.

International audienceTools have been designed to detect for faults in the Linux Kernel, such as Coccinelle, Sparse, or Undertaker, and studies of their results over the vanilla tree have been published. We are interested in a specific point: since Linux

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Resilient method for recovering coverage holes of wireless sensor networks by using mobile nodes
Coverage holes directly reduce network performance and become a key problem of static wireless sensor net-works.A hole-patching method was presented to get the resilient coverage,in which mobile nodes were guided by the boundary nodes of the coverage ...

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

PhDEmbryonic development is regulated by a number of signalling pathways, Which are critical for normal growth. Many of these genes then continue to play an important role in the regulation of cell growth and differentiation in adult.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...
