Tuning decoherence with a voltage probe
We present an experiment where we tune the decoherence in a quantum interferometer using one of the simplest object available in the physic of quantum conductors : an ohmic contact.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

The FLC, enhanced fromavbility, and incremental sheet forming [PDF]
The FLC is a well known concept in the sheet metal forming world. It is used to map the material’s formability and the make-ability of a product. The FLC is valid only within certain restrictions.

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

An Electronic Mach-Zehnder Quantum Eraser [PDF]
We propose an electronic quantum eraser in which the electrons are injected into a mesoscopic conductor at the quantum Hall regime. The conductor is composed of a two-path interferometer which is an electronic analogue of the optical Mach-Zehnder ...

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

On the evaluation of the meshing stiffness of external spur gears [PDF]
A comparison among different approaches of the meshing stiffness of spur gears has been carried out. The influence of each one on the load sharing, and subsequently on the determinant tooth-root and contact stresses, has also been studied.
